Required Adult Training
All adults active in Troop 30 should complete the following training. You will need to create a login with the BSA national training site to do this. Follow the links below to do this.
- Youth Protection (online)
- Fast Start (online)
- Hazardous Weather training is one of the latest e-learning courses available online. To access the online center, go to http://www.scouting.org/ and click on 'Online Learning Center'. It's the fourth red item down on the right side of the e-learning page. Effective January 1, 2009, this training is mandatory for at least one adult on each tour. The course includes training, testing, and additional resources on weather conditions that may be encountered during activities, including lightning, flash floods, tornadoes, hot and cold weather, hail, and hurricanes. Participants who complete the course earn a Weather Smart Certificate of Completion. The course content is appropriate for Venturers and adult leaders.
Note: this is a new site. They don't have records of training you may have taken earlier.
